The social act and behavior of our current age is defined by consumption, as well as mass media and the social notions conveyed within. In my macro-photographic project I deal with the topic of beauty and the attached superficiality in a subtile approach. I arranged a variety of beauty products and created new forms and artistic figures. Finally I arranged them in front of a clean, yet chromatically distinguishable and contrasty background to illustrate the attention drawing impact of colorful adverts, fashions and beauty products on their target group.
